| A very young lady has taken an urgent pause in the sandy road, leading to the hotel I mentioned above. My old home is very close to this place, in fact, the road used to cut right through our back yard. Not a big problem until camping sites were opened at the beaches on this part of Rossö. The only road available was this one and there was quite a bit of traffic during the hectic vacation weeks in July. The picture is from 1935 ca. |

| In order to get to the harbor at Långesand you had to pass through this narrow passage with Leontine's house at one side and the bedrock standing up very steeply at the other side ( to the left, out of picture). If you wanted to get to Höjden , where the second summer hotel was, by car, you had to drive to Långesand and turn around, then come back on to the road in the very foreground. |
