"Udare Garvik".

The most westerly of the beaches in Garvik.

The little pavilion in the background used to be a cafe', frequented by locals and soldiers during WW II.

It came back to life in the late 1950:s, when workers got their long, well deserved vacation and cars became an affordable commodity.

The whole forrest was filled with tents and a few mobile homes, too, during the few, short summer weeks.

And local artists performed for a young and very enthusiastic audience.
