| Another photo from 1930-35, perhaps. My uncle with the for a Swede unusual name, Boy, is standing in the foreground, while his brother, Stig, enjoys sitting in the lukewarm water, a lovely evening in July. The ladies may be my mother and her sisters.. The scenery looks very much the same even today, some 75 years later. The vegetation is much more lush nowadays, though, probably because even these stony hills were used for grazing. |

| A photo from Norska Viken ("Norwegian Bay") from 1930 ca. Inserted is a photo from 2003, to compare the water level. There is no tide in these waters, weather and wind do make the water rize a foot or two, occasionally.
