| During my childhood Rossö was a vital place with many young families and big families. Some forty, fifty children went to the local school. People got their income mostly from fishing or farming or both. There were also craftsmen, carpenters, ship-builders, painters and so on. It was a simple life, I'm sure, but safe and a good way to grow up. |
