My home harbor, where my uncle had his little dinghy, that he let me have, provided I prepared it with fresh linseed oil and turpentine every spring.

We used to sail with the wind, since there was no keel on the boat. Which meant the further we sailed, the further we had to row against the wind to come home.

But it was fun to see the water swirl from under the stern when we reached whopping four knots! So we sailed with a sail, made from old potato sacks.

Andreas på Kollen, used to shout a friendly joking warning "Watch it so that you don't flip over!"
